Who are we?
We’ve built a great reputation locally and have had tremendous success since the company began in 2009, allowing us to expand our capabilities. To the extent that we invested in a pig oven in 2011 that will cook four pigs at a time so that we could cope with demand.
Proper Pig Roasting is a dying art and something for which we have a real passion. We live by an old mantra: “you can never have enough crackling”.
We source all of our meats from Meadows Farm in Bredon’s Norton. It’s a magical place on the slopes of Bredon Hill looking at The Malvern Hills. This means that the produce we sell tastes fantastic.
We take pride in supplying a premium product to the customer who appreciates fine food. We can assure our customers that the meat we sell has been reared at Home Farm, thus providing full traceability and assurance of the highest welfare standards.
We began supplying pig roasts to weddings and this quickly branched out into mobile bars. We have now delivered full on catering packages as far North as Birmingham and as far South as London catering up to 4000 people at one event.
On the 1st of July 2012 Pig On The Hill took a massive leap by opening a new branch of the business to cater for South Wales and the South West. After three years of unprecedented growth and rave reviews the “pigfathers” decided that it was time to expand, opening a new sty based out of Monmouthshire in South Wales.
The new sty now means that Pig On The Hill can satisfy demand for high quality locally sourced pig roasts and BBQ’s in areas such as Cardiff, Newport, Bath, Bristol and Monmouthshire. The increased resource means we can now cater at larger events.
